With continuous use, SaverIT tablets can operate for up to 5 hours without a power supply on their own internal battery. The dual RFID hardware does not have its own internal battery and therefore requires external power at all times.
In a number of cases, the hardware can be connected to an existing generator on the construction site. SaverIT also offers its own independent power supply, which allows the Tablet to function without mains power for up to 72 hours. This is easy if, for example, the generator is turned off from Friday afternoon and only turned on again on Monday morning. This way, employees can also clock times when there is no power available via the generator.
If the power supply is unexpectedly disconnected for too long, the hardware will restart itself as soon as the power supply is reconnected. System startup takes a maximum of 1 minute.
